Holloway Memorial Chapel

July 13th, 2020 - Bulletin
Dear Friends of the Holloway Memorial Chapel:
Just over a week ago, both Canada and the United States celebrated two very important days in our respective histories.
I wish you a belated Happy Canada Day to our many Canadian members!  And Happy Independence Day to our many American members!
First and most importantly, I hope that you and your families are staying healthy and are in good spirits.
I have the sad job of letting everyone know that the Chapel will be closed for the remaining 2020 Summer Season of Worship. It was a unanimous decision made by the Board of Trustees in late June due to the COVID-19 virus implications.
I lament and yet I am also very optimistic that the summer of 2021 will bring much joy and fellowship to our beloved Chapel and Community.  We can all look forward to the Strawberry Festival and seeing one another again at Sunday Worship Services on our ‘new terrace’ which was landscaped to commemorate the Celebration of our Chapel's 125th Anniversary in 2019.

I have included a brief video which I took of the Chapel recently.  Everything is in good stead, as you can see.  However, the surrounding communities are extremely quiet and very much in need of the hustle and bustle of our summer Chapel friends.  This is indeed a tough ordeal for all!
Please know that the Chapel is being well maintained.  Your continued support of donations toward it’s upkeep are greatly appreciated.
Please stay safe and well,
Anne Peters,
President, Holloway Memorial Chapel
