A message from our President, Sandy Peters, Holloway Memorial Chapel

Dear Friends of the Holloway Memorial Chapel:

As  2020 quickly comes to a close, let us take time to remember this very unusual year of years.

I would like to take a moment and thank our Past-President, my wife Anne Peters, for her steadfast and unwavering guidance of the Chapel throughout this most challenging time.

Also, my sincere thanks to the outgoing Board of Trustees for their careful and deliberate contributions and you, our Friends of the Chapel, enabling our ability to continue and prepare for a strong return next season.  Many tough decisions had to be made with mid-course corrections, however, the Chapel is ‘well and intact.’

The Chapel has stood the test of time over her 125 years, as she did again this past fall, when the winds of November arrived.  Like the Chapel, we its Members will also stand the test of time with God's help.

I am looking forward to opening the Chapel for the first Sunday Service in June and, the upcoming Strawberry Festival, as I am sure all our Board of Trustees and parishioners are, as well.

The other day I received this Christmas verse from a friend in Vero Beach Florida.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do:

May your family and friends surround you,
May their love and laughter ground you,
As you're whirling through this world as one,

In closing, I want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year, until we can all be together again.

Best Wishes and God bless you all,

Sandy Peters,
President, Holloway Memorial Chapel
