July 4th, 2021 Service - Sister Denise Roche

As you should already know, our twelve-week seasonal Sunday Worship Service Program for 2020 (June 2oth through September 5th), is currently suspended until further notice do to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This Sunday, July 4th, our service will be celebrated virtually with Sr. Denise A. Roche, Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart.

Sister Denise Roche, a Buffalo native, has been an invited speaker at the Holloway Memorial Chapel for several years.  She is the retired President of D’Youville College, in Buffalo, having served from 1979 to 2017.  After retirement, she wasn’t idle very long and took on the position of the Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA).  Currently, she shares her time as the President of the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart in Buffalo and in Philadelphia.  Other interests include being a member of the Erie County Industrial Development Authority and a Board member of the WNED Foundation.

Sister Denise has graciously prepared a video of her homily, for the Friends of the Holloway Memorial Chapel to view virtually in their home as we are all practicing social distancing and cannot meet in person.

We are very grateful for the time and participation that Sr. Denise has contributed for our Holloway Memorial Chapel summer service.

Thank you so much Sr. Denise!
